I signed up for my fall courses this morning. I’m actually looking forward to them. My move from the MTS program to MDiv has opened up the things that are available, and applicable to the degree.
My original plan was to do all of my on campus work on Tuesdays. Here’s what the day looks like:
- 8:30am: Church History- Early and Medieval Christianity (3hrs)
- 1:30pm: Reading the Bible: Text and Context (3hrs)
- 5:00 pm: Worship and Global Songs (1.5hrs)
- 7:00 pm: Introduction to Theology (3hrs)
I have since decided to add a class on Mondays as well. Spiritual Reflection and Thinking Theologically is a required course for the new MA program at WLS. The class meets five times during the semester all day. It is a research course and classified as an elective for the MDiv degree.
This schedule will still allow me freedom during the rest of the week to travel for Threefold Consulting if needed. It will also help to minimize the miles we put on vehicles going to school.
I’m looking forward to it all.
